As a leading Governance, Regulatory, and Governmental Affairs team member, you will collaborate with organizational stakeholders to enhance program quality, ensure alignment with institutional goals and core values, and drive continuous improvement.

This is a hybrid role, working 2-3 days a week in our downtown Toronto office.

What's in it for you

Whether you aspire to advance within this department, move into program management, or explore other areas of governance, this is an exciting time to join us.

As our new Senior Manager, Academic Program Quality Assurance, you will:

You will foster strong working relationships with the University’s Value Centres (especially the Curriculum Design team), academic leaders, faculty members, and other stakeholders involved in the program review process.
  • Provide expert guidance. You will share expertise and support academic units in crafting comprehensive self-study documents that accurately reflect the programs’ strengths, challenges, and future aspirations. You will review and provide constructive feedback on self-study documents to enhance their quality and alignment with institutional goals.
  • Write. You will ensure the program’s human impact, value, and experience are expressed in meaningful and measurable ways through data-driven insights. You will collaborate with the academic departments, marketing team, data science team, admissions, and the recruitment department to facilitate the collection and analysis of data for program assessment. You will prepare clear and concise reports summarizing program quality, outcomes, and recommendations for academic leadership and institutional decision-making.
  • Identify areas for program improvement. You will contribute to developing and implementing strategies to enhance program quality, student learning outcomes, and overall academic excellence. You will facilitate the analysis of ministerial conditions and commitments, program assessment data and past self-study findings to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

You will ensure fiscally responsible utilization of resources in providing services and completing projects. You will contribute to committees and working groups to assist in developing practices, policies and protocols that promote program quality.
  • Share knowledge. You are passionate about academic program quality assurance and implementing the processes to achieve the highest standards.
