Who we need
Reporting to the Associate Director of Admissions (ADOA), we are hiring an Education Sales Advisor for an 18-month contract covering a maternity leave. You will play a key role in supporting prospective students through the application process and into the right academic program. As our new Student Enrollment Advisor, you will focus on recruiting and advising prospective students for the Bachelor of Interior Design program in Ontario.
You will take ownership of a portfolio of prospective students, requiring consistent outreach, follow-up, and relationship-building over a long sales cycle. As an Education Sales Advisor you will conduct outbound outreach to prospective students, follow up on marketing-generated leads, and provide thoughtful guidance throughout the application journey. You will build strong relationships, assess program fit, and support applicants from initial outreach through to registration, ensuring each student feels informed, supported, and confident in their decision.
This is an existing full-time role, working 2 days remotely and 3 days on-site at 2000 Steeles Avenue, with a move to our new headquarters at 120 Bloor Street East in Spring 2027.
What’s in it for you
Meaningful impact. This is a consultative, relationship-based sales role with a meaningful purpose: helping people change the trajectory of their lives through education. As the first point of contact for individuals exploring higher education, you will support prospective students in taking meaningful steps toward their academic and long-term career goals. Your conversations will help students find programs that align with their ambitions, lifestyle, and professional realities, opening doors to new opportunities and lasting impact.
A mission-driven sales role. You will apply your sales skills to help people invest in themselves through education. You will receive structured onboarding, ongoing coaching, and continuous feedback to help you succeed in a highly KPI-driven environment. Whether you come from fitness, automotive, luxury retail, or another relationship-based sales environment, this role will allow you to channel your strengths into work that is both financially rewarding and deeply fulfilling.
Unlimited earning potential. You will work with marketing-generated leads and prospective students who have expressed interest in our programs, allowing you to focus on meaningful conversations. With uncapped commission, you have direct ownership over your results and earning potential while building trusted relationships and guiding prospective students toward programs that fit their goals and lifestyle.
How you will make an impact
- Exceed expectations. You will engage with prospective students through timely, supportive follow-up on warm leads and inquiries, consistent outbound outreach, follow-up, and pipeline management. You will build trust, gain insights and develop a deeper understanding of individual goals, offering thoughtful guidance. You will ensure program alignment and support students through the full application journey from initial interest through to registration and course access.
- Champion and promote. You will represent the university at recruitment events and through ongoing outreach initiatives. By offering campus tours and sharing insights into programs, student services, and learning formats, you will help prospective students envision their experience and make informed decisions.
- Ensure compliance. You will support the collection, review, and use of admissions data in accordance with policies, procedures, and provincial legislation. Your work will uphold the integrity of the institution and ensure a consistent, compliant admissions process.
- Collaborate and contribute. You will work closely with colleagues across teams to support shared objectives and occasional cross-functional initiatives. You will contribute to a positive, inclusive culture that values equity, learning, wellness, and continuous improvement.
- Deliver on activity and performance metrics. You will operate in a structured, KPI-driven environment with daily, weekly, and quarterly targets related to outbound calls, pipeline activity, and enrollments. You will manage multiple prospective students at different stages of the admissions cycle while maintaining detailed and accurate records in CRM systems.
What you bring
- Proven sales performance. You have a track record of meeting or exceeding targets in a relationship-based sales environment. You have a proven ability to convert warm leads into outcomes, leveraging sales and marketing collateral to drive engagement, and using CRM tools and technology to manage, track, and progress prospects through the funnel.
- Initiative and resilience. You take action when challenges arise, look for opportunities to improve outcomes, and maintain a strong, positive attitude in both high and low periods. You step into difficult situations, take ownership, and push forward even when faced with obstacles, rejection, or ambiguity.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills. You are an active listener and consultative seller who builds trust through clear, empathetic, and confident communication. You excel at phone-based relationship-building, asking thoughtful questions and influencing decisions by understanding motivations, addressing concerns, and aligning solutions with individual goals. You are comfortable working with both prospective students and internal academic or administrative partners.
- Drive, ownership, and follow-through. You bring an entrepreneurial mindset to your work and take ownership of your pipeline and results. You are motivated by goals, performance metrics, and financial rewards, and you thrive in a role where persistence, organization, and follow-up are critical to success. You can manage multiple applications or case files with discretion and confidentiality. You are self-disciplined, adaptable, and effective, working independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
